This 820-acre park sits on a peninsula and crosses over to an island in the middle of Lake Horton. The lake is actually a reservoir that provides drinking water to the area and thus swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, etc. are all prohibited. However, the park does provide ample picnicking opportunities as well as a 2.8-mile walking trail.

A beautiful 780-acre reservoir located in Lake Horton Park, Lake Horton is an important source of water for the local area, yielding over 14 million gallons per day.

This large city park has playgrounds, ballfields, a picnic pavilion, a 400 meter running track, and a paved walking path. The path is wide and mostly flat, so pretty much anyone can do it. There are a couple of optional routes that take off from the main trail should you wish to explore some more.

Arabia Lake, situated within the Davidson-Arabia Nature Preserve, boasts a picturesque trail that winds around its perimeter, surrounded by stunning trees. Along the trail, you'll encounter the remains of an old bridge, adding a touch of unique historical ambiance to the area.

Arabia Mountain's peak is 955 feet above sea level. This was once home to some tribes of Muskogee and Cherokee indigenous peoples.

Less than 100 yards from the parking lot, along Cascades Trail, you can see cascades along Bridge Pole Creek. The creek is pretty wide here, so the cascades can be quite beautiful after rain.
