Chapel Rock is a popular hiking destination, which can also be reach by boat on Lake Superior. The rock is ancient sandstone that has been eroded for thousands of years, leaving the resulting rock formation. There was once an arch connecting it to the land, but it fell in the 1940s. Great views of Chapel Rock can be seen from nearby Chapel Beach.

Located on the Mosquito River, these falls are a short 1 mile hike from the Mosquito Beach Campground. The falls are about 8 feet tall, and the pool at the bottom is known for beaver and otter sightings.

An easy walk from the parking area on a semi-paved road, Au Train Falls are a great family-friendly walk. The falls drop around 40 feet over a series of small cascades. The falls are best seen in the spring time when wetter weather means that the flow will be higher.

Miners Falls is located a short 0.6 mile hike from the parking area. There are two overlooks for viewing the falls, with the lower deck requiring hikers to descend 67 wooden steps in order to access it. The falls are around 40 feet tall. At the trailhead you can find a seasonal open vault toilet.

Miners Beach is a 1 mile long beach on the shores of Lake Superior. The beach can be easily accessed from a boardwalk that leads from the parking area. Looking east from the beach, you can Bridalveil Falls flowing into Lake Superior. Walking to the western side of the beach, you can also see views of Miners Castle.

Castle Rock is located on the shore of Lake Superior. Here the cliffs have been weathered and the rocks have taken on a fascinating, almost manmade-looking structure that resembles a castle. The rocky monument can be seen from an accessible trail from the nearby parking area, and a closer lower viewpoint is also available on a steeper trail that follows the shoreline.
