This viewpoint offers panoramic views of Edwards Point and the Tennessee River Valley. From the rocky outcrop, you can see the forest-covered mountains surrounding the valley. Take a moment to pause and enjoy the view.

Rainbow Lake Wilderness is a quiet and beautiful corner of Prentice Cooper State Forest, perfect if you enjoy moments of solitude in nature. The surrounding trails can be rocky, leading you through dense forest and past a few small streams, with Rainbow Lake itself offering a lovely spot to pause. Trails are lightly marked and can be overgrown, so having your Komoot map downloaded can be helpful.

The campground is a stone's throw from the Fiery Gizzard Trail. Best of all, it's just a short walk down to the base of the Foster Falls waterfall and a beautiful swimming hole, making it a fantastic base camp to cool off on hot days.

The Small Wilds Backcountry Campground offers a primitive and peaceful experience. It’s located near a cascading stream, right on the rim of the gorge, offering you a breathtaking, sweeping view.

The Climbers Loop Trail is an alternate path to the Fiery Gizzard Trail near Foster Falls. It gets its name from the multitude of climbing and scrambling routes in the area, but the trail is worth doing even if you aren't a climber. You travel under tall rock walls and cliffs with sporadic views over the valley.

Foster Falls is a 60-foot tall cascade and is the main attraction within South Cumberland State Park. The recreational area around the falls is full of campsites, camping amenities, and a couple different trails popular for hiking and trail running.
