ウィニペソーキー湖での周辺の簡単なハイキングとウォーキング

素晴らしい秋のハイキングでした！青い道で登り、黄色い道で下りました。これが周回コースとして推奨される方向であることを確認できます。10月初旬の平日に訪れましたが、まったく混雑していませんでした。道はよく整備されており、標識も見つけやすいです。幸いなことに、道はほとんど乾いており、ほとんどが厚い落ち葉で覆われているだけでした。中程度の難易度という評価は妥当です。頂上の直前に、技術的に少し難しいクライミング箇所がいくつかありますが、十分に可能です。それ以外は、道はかなり歩きやすかったです（前半は標高を上げますが）。登りの適度な挑戦を楽しみ、頂上でのピクニックで景色を楽しみ、小川に沿ってしばらく続く下り道も楽しみました。

At the southern tip of the island y will find a small beach protected by jetties on both sides. There is a picnic area and spots to dock kayaks. From here you get views across the water to Weir Beach and Governor's Island, and if you are lucky you will see the Mount Washington cruise ship making its tour of Winnipesaukee.

Stonedam Island is host to a historic cabin and four little trails that take you to picnic spots and beaches around the island. It you make it here, you have found the summit! There is no access to the island by car, but you can boat or kayak over to the dock on the northeast side and begin your adventure from there.

The Ridge Trail takes you on an easy hike up to the crest of Rattlesnake Mountain. This is a great short trail for the kids with some fun scrambling over forested bedrock and views over the lake.

At 3,097 acres, Lake Wentworth is the seventh-largest lake in New Hampshire. There are 18 named islands in the lake, with public access to the lake available at Wentworth State Park.

The Fernalds Basin is part of the Cotton Valley Rail Trail in Wolfeboro and passes a short section of Lake Wentworth with nice views of the lake.
