Semur-en-Auxois can be reached by a cycle path and also by the Burgundy Canal.

Small cute village with access to Lake Armançon, There is a beach and a nautical base where you can rent a boat or a kayak. There is also a small park in front of the lake where you can take a short break.

A fascinating ruin of this mill which is hidden for much of the year. If the water level is low (usually in winter) you can see the bridge and there is an information board nearby if you want to know more during your run.

The Armancon dam is a truly amazing work of architecture and the trek to the top is a pleasure.

Just three kilometers from Semur-en-Auxois, the L'Armancon dam is located above Pont-et-Massène. The dam wall is accessible, offers a beautiful view of the lake and you can include it in a hiking tour around the lake. The dam serves to regulate the water flow and as a reservoir for the Canal de Bourgogne.

Small nice sandy beach, directly at the dam. There are changing rooms, a small restaurant on the beach 🏖 and a mobile snack sale at the entrance.

Swim or rent a kayak. Unfortunately no snacks or drinks but a proper restaurant.

Very nice reservoir with a beach, a restaurant and many places to rest. The road to the lake that runs along the beach is extremely pleasant.
