Mary Campbell Cave, also known as Old Maid's Kitchen, is a rock shelter that has formed from sandstone. A small plaque can be found in the cave, commemorating Mary Campbell, who lived in the cave after she was kidnapped by Native Americans in 1759.

This cave and waterfall are a great destination for photographers and adventurers who want paths that are less crowded than other parts of the National Park. In drier weather the waterfall may not be as active.

The Grotto is a nice little cave hidden behind a small waterfall in Glen Helen Nature Preserve. No matter which trail you are hiking along, make sure to pass by here and watch the water of Yellow Springs Creek fall.

Old Man's Cave is the namesake for the whole area. At this location, the actual recess cave is situated and Hermit Richard Rowe is supposed to have lived here in the late 1700's. To go down into the gorge, you need to walk a lot of steps, but once you reach the gorge, you will find yourself in one of the most famous places of the area.

Rock House is the only actual cave in Hocking Hills State Park. The cave can be accessed from the main trail called Rock House Gorge Trail. Once inside the sandstone building, you will find an impressive, 25 feet high ceiling and a 200 feet long and 20 to 30 feet wide corridor
