I was cycling along the Weiltal cycle path and suddenly noticed a loud rushing noise. I just stopped and looked at the masses of water flowing towards the Lahn. 😃

The Löhnberger Mühle was operated from 1870 to 1958 as a grain mill. The mill was powered by two Johval turbines powered by the water of the Lahn in the attached turbine house, built in 1840.

You should take a little time to enjoy the place. We especially recommend taking a break here on hot summer days in order to meditate and slow down a bit through the rippling of the water.
