The museum harbor is the center of Carolinensiel. Numerous historic flat-bottomed sailing ships lie here surrounded by a backdrop of predominantly typical Frisian buildings. During its heyday in the 18th and 19th centuries, the port, as the second largest East Frisian sewage and trading port, was important for shipping as a whole. Today the historic harbor is the center for many festivals and activities and still provides impressions of bygone times.

HELLO & WELCOME! 3 harbors - in the center of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel is the historic museum harbor with its flat-bottomed boats and small sailing boats. It is connected to the marina via the Harle, where motorboats and sailing yachts have found their home. Right behind the pumping station lock you will find the outer harbor, the starting point for ferries to the East Frisian island of Wangerooge or for excursions to the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.
