The second suspension bridge was in better condition.

Unfortunately, the suspension bridge is slightly damaged on one side. Nevertheless, I made it to the other side safely.

Fortunately, the bench in front of the first suspension bridge was free for a break.

A short hanging bridge makes the hike even more exciting.

The perfect spot to have a short break and enjoy the landscape.

The peak of Spanstinden (1457m) offering a great views. Hiking up is physically demanding, but there is a good trail leading to the summit. The trail is popular with locals, but many don't go all the way up.

Across the birch forest path to the stream (follow the rushing sound). There is a small bridge at the waterfall. Bubbling water, great rocks, thick moss, ferns, berries, mushrooms... it's beautiful here!

The Midnattsoltrapa requires a bit of perseverance. 2117 wooden steps lead up to the viewing platform. In 2 places, the steps are very steep (about 20 meters long), so that the ascent on these two passages resembles a ladder shape, but the heavy and stable construction ensures a secure hold at all times. A little head for heights and a sure step should be taken with you. However, the view from the platform at around 1600 meters above sea level compensates for the exertion of climbing the stairs. In the summer months, the midnight sun is an additional highlight that can be admired from there by well-rested hikers. From the platform there is still the possibility to take another hiking trail uphill, but we didn't do it. All in all, it's worth a little day trip with the family.
