Gravel biking around Palmariggi features gently rolling terrain and slight, rocky inclines within the "Serre Salentine." The region is characterized by extensive ancient olive groves, traditional dry stone walls, and areas of pine forest and Mediterranean scrubland. With an altitude ranging between 65 and 106 meters above sea level, the area provides manageable gradients. Palmariggi is also less than 10 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, allowing for routes that combine inland gravel paths with coastal views.
