Lake della Vacca is a body of water located in the Caffaro valley within the Adamello Natural Park. It owes its name to the cattle-shaped rock found at the pass of the same name. In 1927 the lake was dammed to power the Gaver hydroelectric power station and produce energy.

There is also a small, simple oven. However, there isn't necessarily any wood and the bivouac is unfortunately a little above the tree line. So you shouldn't rely on it. There is also some cookware. The meadows around the bivouac are probably also used as pasture, so be careful where you get water; There are also side streams where animals are probably not kept. Inside there were four beds with blankets and pillows and a table. Unfortunately, one of the four chairs only had three legs...

The Blumone bivouac is a fantastic place to spend a night. Being a bivouac and not a refuge, it is self-managed and it is possible that you will have to share it with other people. It has a single room containing: four beds with mattresses, pillows and blankets, a wooden table with four chairs, a stove, a chest of drawers with various crockery.

These old ruins from the 1st World War are located a little below the Passo Datums. They are among the largest military structures in the entire Adamello sector. They lie on a plateau in a dominant position over the upper Caffaro valley. Despite the advanced decay, the structure is still imposing, with the stone walls surrounding it. According to oral tradition, it is said to be a military hospital. Objectively, however, the necessity of a hospital of this size in a front area so little affected by combat operations is incomprehensible and there is currently no evidence to confirm or refute this. If you want to know more about the history, you should take a look at the Sentiero della Pace long-distance hiking trail!
