A spring pot like this always captivates me - I therefore recommend visiting on a quiet weekday, when the restaurant is closed, but you can enjoy the historic power plant, the small village and the Kleine Lauter in peace.

Hello, Great impressions and information from the Blautopf. Very worth seeing, a small path leads all around. Not wheelchair accessible. Rollator would go, the path is uneven. The blue of the water is very clear and impressive, there are many opportunities to enjoy the beautiful, quiet nature and also to listen to the sound of the water. Simply fantastic for young and old. The lone pot doesn't look big, but it is at least 6 m deep! A rest bench is available.

The, admittedly, slightly smaller counterpart to the Blautopf, refreshingly little busy, recommended with children thanks to the adjacent, large playground.

An absolutely stunning place. The circular trail around the Blautopf is highly recommended. The Blautopf (21 meters deep) is a karst spring from which the Blau River rises.

A much sung about place, which rightly belongs to one of the most beautiful natural spectacles of the Alb. Summer, sun and the deep blue of the spring always have a beneficial and invigorating effect.

There is something magical about this little lake. The turquoise, blue and green glowing water has long fascinated us. We have been there countless times and would love to come back. Just not on nice weekends as it is overcrowded.
