Parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, first documented mention in 1259, temporarily Lutheran in the 16th century, rebuilt 1631-1671 under Carl Eusebius by Johann Baptist Carlone, then Johann Jakob Tencala and Andreas Erna from Brünn.

The church is 48 meters long and 25 meters wide, so a real monumental building. It reminds a little of the church Il Gesu in Rome. Tencalla was said to have been inspired by this building in his plans. According to Lubos Velecky, the Tencalla family ultimately participated at least in the decoration of the church.

This beautiful building is worth seeing. The ascent on the balcony is free of charge and you have an ideal view of the Valtice-Lednice landscape.
