Cozy little restaurant or snack bar at the Bretterschachten activity center - right at the bus stop! An ideal place to warm up after a cross-country tour. Super: Here you can also wait for the ski bus in the warmth 👍

In winter - popular ski area with snow-making equipment - floodlit skiing - toboggan run - snow and fun park - Geisslein park. The catering establishments take care of the physical well-being with typical Bavarian snacks, delicacies and the tasty beer. A hike around the 1,097 m high Geißkopf near Bischofsmais not only offers many unforgettable nature experiences. The ruins of the abandoned forest village of Oberbreitenau also tell of the hard life of mountain farmers in the Bavarian Forest. Well-marked hiking and forest trails lead to its summit. Those who prefer to be more comfortable can also use the chairlift.
