Albergian, a peak that is always attractive, always available, always enjoyable. This year I made the climb starting from the parking lot in Rua, the capital of Pragelato. Passing from Alpe Pradamond, through the long hairpin bends that were first grassy and then stony, I reached the summit in 2 hours and 47 minutes, practically the same time taken in two consecutive climbs carried out back in 2003. When the conditions are right, the meters are they devour easily, but when it is a bad day, this excursion becomes interminable. Downhill between a chat and the other with nice hikers in just over two hours I returned to the starting point via the access road to the Pradamond alp. One of the most beautiful mountains to climb in Val Chisone. Physically demanding for the length but never technically difficult. In the summer I recommend starting with the first light of dawn to get to the top early, or the weather conditions can compromise visibility and it would be a shame.
