The grounds are wonderfully well-maintained and authentic. The colorful koi in the lake are an attraction in their own right. The Japanese Garden is one of the city of Bad Langensalza's five themed gardens. This route from Erfurt to the mouth of the Gera can only be recommended. It is better to stop and wait if there is oncoming traffic on the causeway.

If you don't find your center here, one of the most beautiful Japanese gardens outside of Nippon.

A bit tight, but everything goes with consideration. And driving on the dam is always a pleasure. Just before the Gera flows into the Unstrut.
