The Rumpelbach Gorge is a small sandstone gorge in Middle Franconia near the Altdorf municipality of Röthenbach. It is also called the Röthenbach Gorge after the Röthenbach River, which flows into the Pegnitz near the town of Röthenbach, and at whose upper reaches the rocky notch lies.
