The beautiful, large church, restored in the early 1990s, was built in the mid-16th century. It once served as a Protestant temple until it regained its Catholic vocation in the first half of the 17th century.

Located on the route of the Santiago de Compostela trail, as the statues and shell signs found in the town remind us, Navarrenx is a member of the association of the most beautiful villages in France. The town has a remarkable heritage. This medieval bastide has the particularity of being one of the first fortified cities in France. It has an austere and military side and presents classical style buildings.
