This magnificent summit offers you a panoramic view of the Jura and the surrounding Swiss and French landscapes. The Noirmont region is known for its unique alpine flora and fauna.

Noirmont has two peaks. This is the "Noirmont of the French", and offers a beautiful view of the Jura and the Lac des Rousses.

Departing from La Cure, the Noirmont family hike route crosses a solitary, lush green meadow and a landscape dominated by gigantic fir trees. Located at the edge of the border with France, the summit of this “black mountain” of the Vaudois Jura reveals a panorama of great beauty. Noirmont has two peaks on its own. The “Noirmont des Français” offers a beautiful view of the heights of the neighboring Jura and of the Lac des Rousses, located not far away. Twenty meters higher is the real summit of Noirmont, from where the panorama is breathtaking, with Lake Geneva and the Alps as stars.
