Noirmont has two peaks. This is the "Noirmont of the French", and offers a beautiful view of the Jura and the Lac des Rousses.

Departing from La Cure, the Noirmont family hike route crosses a solitary, lush green meadow and a landscape dominated by gigantic fir trees. Located at the edge of the border with France, the summit of this “black mountain” of the Vaudois Jura reveals a panorama of great beauty. Noirmont has two peaks on its own. The “Noirmont des Français” offers a beautiful view of the heights of the neighboring Jura and of the Lac des Rousses, located not far away. Twenty meters higher is the real summit of Noirmont, from where the panorama is breathtaking, with Lake Geneva and the Alps as stars.

Magnificent view of Lake Geneva and the Alps, as well as the Dole. A cross is installed at the top and the rocks provide seating for a picnic.

Small, comfortable cabin for picnicking or spending the night.

Very beautiful valley. The running water dug the summit of the mountain until it formed a sort of basin. A small cabin in the center gives a truly picturesque and attractive look to the landscape. The path runs along the valley and gives a truly alpine character to this passage.
