The small wildcat village is definitely worth a visit. During the guided feeding you will learn interesting information about wild cats and lynxes. Opening times: April 1st - 31st October 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the low season (November-March) SA, SUN, public holidays and holidays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Entrance fee is paid in the wildcat barn in town, where you can also learn a lot about wildcats in a small exhibition.

The Hainichbaude at Craulaer Kreuz is the starting point for hikes and walks on countless circular hiking trails in all directions through the wonderful Hainich.

Very nice wild cat enclosure with 4 cats and lynxes - these even have young at the moment. It is recommended to come to the feedings, otherwise you will not see the cats. Unfortunately, there is no catering option there. Also at checkout - in the barn - there are only overpriced cookies / coffee ☕️ 🍪.
