Vulliafans with around 700 inhabitants in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region - a magical place with the Pont Vieux - this bridge with its 3 arches was built in the 17th century. The Hôtel de Ville d’Ornans has been located since 1825 in part of a large building that was once the old courthouse of the bailiwick of Ornans in 1422. The former bailiwick was rebuilt in 1740. This imposing building spans the sidewalk with double arches overlooking the Rue Pierre Vernier. If you visit Ornans, this historic building is definitely worth a look! 🏛️🇫🇷
