The Parc des Glacis is a public park in Besançon, capital of Doubs, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. The park was created on part of the old fortifications of the Battant district, between the Besançon-Viotte train station and the historic city center. It is part of the Vauban network of important sites and has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008, together with the citadel of Besançon. The park is embellished with numerous tree species, flower beds and rose beds, and offers beautiful panoramic views of the old city.
