At this point, the remains of the ADSB's foundations can still be seen. Wikipedia 05/2025: The Agethorst Cable Car, also known as the Alsen Cable Car, or ADSB for short, was one of the longest industrial cable cars in Europe and connected the Alsen clay pits in the municipalities of Wacken, Agethorst, and Nienbüttel with the Alsen cement works[1][2] in Itzehoe. The cable car was built in 1908 and had a total length of 13.5 kilometers. It remained in operation until 1977.

In Itzehoe, the old railway line is well developed and wide - towards Hohenlockstedt the path becomes narrower and narrower and ends in a narrow, thin trail - wonderful!
