The Aukrug Nature Park is a 380 square kilometer nature park in the center of the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in the Holstein region. We rode the route yesterday. Had to carry the bikes over fallen trees several times. Only for hardened mountain bikers. Very difficult to ride with an e-bike. Rugged, muddy sections.

I would advise against cycling through the Schierenwald forest: long muddy stretches with deep puddles, the terrain is completely torn up due to felling work, it is only for adventure mountain bikers.
