The Boßlerhaus, a nature lovers' lodge, is picturesquely situated on the northern edge of the Swabian Alb, at an altitude of 785 meters above sea level, between the idyllic villages of Gruibingen and Weilheim. From here, one has a magnificent panoramic view of the Three Emperor Mountains and the landscape in front of the Swabian Alb.

Beautiful view to the north towards the three striking Kaiserberge mountains.

Teck Castle sits enthroned at an altitude of 773 meters on the Albtrauf of the Swabian Alb. The Swabian Alb Association runs a restaurant and a hostel here - the ideal place to take a relaxing break with a great view during your tour.

The Nature Friends House is a very nice opportunity to take a break. There is a fixed drinks/vesper menu and changing daily meals. Opening times see link (scroll down) https://www.naturfreunde-gp.de/bo%C3%9Flerhaus There is also a very nice viewing point of the 3 Kaiser Mountains on the terrace.

Attention Tuesdays and Wednesdays are days off

The food was very plentiful and tasty. Outdoor seating as far as the eye can see, and in bad weather there is a beer tent. Homemade brain soup today, delicious!
