Large biotope with many water birds.

Probably the most beautiful, freely accessible viewpoint on Stuttgart and a wonderful rest area. The “shards” of the past make you think, but these days they offer great places to sit and play for the children.

You can go on beautiful hikes here at any time of the year, autumn with its bright colors is of course a blast, but also nice in winter, where the view is clearer in the cold.

At the time after the rain it was very difficult to get directly to the water.

A small water staircase/waterfall is awesome

a narrow, beautiful footbridge leads over the stream. Not for the fearful but wide enough to actually be able to cross easily. The hike is worth it for the unusual footbridge and the beautiful little waterfall alone. The next time I would run the rod the other way around so that the highlights come at the end and not at the beginning;)
