ソウトリー（ハンツ）でののおすすめグラベルライド

2025年4月更新。 自転車愛好家がこのカフェを気に入っているので、正面の自転車ラックが再設置されるよう提案したところ、実現しました。メニューには新しいものがたくさんあり、素晴らしいスープや絶品のソーセージロールが含まれています。 2025年1月更新。新しいオーナーになり、改装されました。自転車ラックは撤去されましたが、自転車を固定する場所はまだあり、店内から見えます。トイレもアップグレードされました。裏庭が次に作業される予定で、テーブルと椅子が設置されると聞きました。調理された料理が増えた新しいメニューがあり、ベーコンロール（私は一つ食べましたが、絶品でした）やフルイングリッシュ、そしてケーキなどがあります。ベジタリアンオプションもあります。コーヒーも紅茶も美味しいです。全体的に良いアップグレードで、訪れる価値があります。以前のコメントにあるように、NCN12からわずかな距離（600m）です。https://www.thewillowscafe.uk/menu/

A well stocked shop and pub which is the perfect place for a cycle pitstop. No worries about queues, locking up bike etc.... Bench seating outside the pub with some shade from the trees. Minimal detour even if you're on the lap of the reservoir

Nice tea and cake cafe few savories such as sausage roll but no bacon roll ect. Outside seats and bike rack.

Short but sweet gravel ride

Don't follow Komoot strictly (like I did) 😉 - obey the signs from farmer/landowner & NCN signs - small mistakes can be forgiven, I suppose, when we new to the area.

Nothing really to see except look at the house names - Prison dates back to 1796 to house prisoners from the French Revolutionary wars and Napoleonic Wars.

The cycle path along the top of the dam is wide and flat and gives great views across the reservoir. Reach it from the Visitor Centre at the northern end although access at the southern end is trickier as you have to squeeze through a narrow gap next to a locked gate by the main road.
