Jan 2025 update. Under new ownership and refurbished. Bike rack has been removed but still places to secure your bike and visible from inside. Toilets upgraded. I was told that the rear garden was next to be worked on and have tables and chairs. There is a new menu with more cooked food such as bacon rolls (I had one and excellent) and full english as well as cakes. Veg options as well. Good coffee and pots of tea. Bridge with a chapel

Near a nice little stream there is this sign, remembering us to keep an eye on animals.

It is really a pittoresque bridge, rather narrow and with beautiful views above the water. Cyclists and pedestrians encounter here, so take care of each other. It's a place to enjoy, there are others to drive fast.

A nice town at the end of the guided bus lane from and to Cambridge. The small town is charming and also the surroundings are beautiful.

A well stocked shop and pub which is the perfect place for a cycle pitstop. No worries about queues, locking up bike etc.... Bench seating outside the pub with some shade from the trees. Minimal detour even if you're on the lap of the reservoir

Quaint bridge with no cars but lots of pedestrians so be courteous.
