You can get to the Pechofen directly from the country road in a really good way. From here you can make beautiful round trips in the Zeitzgrund. Recommendation here: To Hubertusquelle and then on towards the paper mill and Hermsdorf. On the way you can stop off at the mills and strengthen yourself.

Along the deeply incised and densely wooded valley, the Zeitzbach often stretches alongside the main hiking trail, where there are several mills, some of which are now inns. The railway line between Central Germany runs a little above.

The Ziegenmühle has its own brewery with up to five different types of beer with different alcohol content (Delta Ale and Sommerfrische 4.8%, Holzländer No.1 - 5.5%, Zwickel 6.0%, Teufel 7.5%). On weekends, the mill runs a self-service business with simple meals from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. next to the restaurant (inside) in the beer garden. The restaurant offers main courses between 15 and approx. 20 € (Wed - Sat kitchen until 8:00 p.m.).
