Shallow sand slopes into the water. Ideal for children or night owls. A very idyllic spot. Located in a small wooded area.

Basedow Castle is a real eye-catcher and beautiful to look at. Together with Lenné Park and the small village with the village church, it forms a wonderful ensemble. Unfortunately, the castle itself can only be partially visited as part of a guided tour. But it is also worth seeing from the outside. There is a small path leading directly around the castle. The park is free and freely accessible and it is also worth taking a long walk here. The reflection of the castle in the adjacent village pond is also beautiful!👌 - why they have created several highlights for the same thing here is a mystery to me, as it is completely unnecessary! -

This lake pavilion is located opposite the spa hotel and the Amsee clinic. A small jetty leads directly to it. There are several places to sit that invite you to linger. From here you have a beautiful view over the Tiefwarensee. For bathing enthusiasts there is even a jetty ladder!🏊‍♂️ There is a small free car park in the immediate vicinity and the Tiefwarensee observation tower is only a few hundred meters away from here.

Unfortunately, there are not many poppies to be seen at the moment.

Actually a hiking trail, the circular route can be done by bike. It's best if it hasn't rained heavily beforehand ;-)

Great rest area

A break with a wonderful view over the lake. There was also a “couple” with great music in the background. Pure vacation!
