ゼルビッツ川の印象的な岩石層と自然のままの川の部分。ヒルシュスプルングやケーニッヒ・ダーヴィトのような特徴的な岩石の眺め。ユングフェルンシュテークやトイフェルスシュテークのような歴史的な川の横断。

An excellent cycle path on the former railway line. It's almost completely flat, free of potholes and uneven surfaces. The route is also relatively quiet, making it ideal for really picking up speed. The surrounding scenery is particularly charming. Overall, this cycle path is highly recommended.

The route climbs gently almost continuously, gaining a total elevation of 150 meters. Unfortunately, more and more forest disappears along the route.

This "power spot" is located at the edge of the spa gardens. Small seating areas and a few stones are arranged in a circle around it. Everyone is welcome to try it out and see if it's good for them. Here, one can find peace, recharge, and recharge with strengthening earth energy.

The Prince Regent Luitpold Monument in the church park was restored in 2020. Grateful, citizens dedicated this memorial to the Bavarian ruler and patron of Bad Steben on August 10, 1913. During his reign, the spa facilities were expanded and the spa gardens were created.

In 1933, a wood mill was converted into the current hydroelectric power plant. Along the right bank of the Selbitz River, the 1.60-meter-high pipes run 1,855 meters in length, with a drop of 37.4 meters, carrying water from the weir to the water tower and from there into the power plant. During the summer months, on Sundays and public holidays, and when the water level is sufficient, a 28-meter-high water fountain can be seen at the power plant, delighting hikers.
