There's also plenty to see 👀: - Gothic gabled house - The tug-of-war figures - Old Swede - Mühlenbachhaus - St. Nicholas Church - St. Mary's Church tower, Wismar - Pig Bridge - Speicherstadt (a historic district) - Tittengrabscherstraße (a street known for its promiscuous women)... The Hanseatic city of Wismar (Low German: Wismer) is located on the Baltic Sea coast in the Nordwestmecklenburg district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, at the southern end of the Bay of Wismar, protected by the island of Poel. It is the sixth-largest city in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the largest of the state's 18 medium-sized towns. The historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in June 2002.
