This route from Erfurt to the mouth of the Gera can only be recommended. It is better to stop and wait if there is oncoming traffic on the causeway.

Nice overpass of the Gera. From here on a beautiful bike path towards Gispersleben.

A bit tight, but everything goes with consideration. And driving on the dam is always a pleasure. Just before the Gera flows into the Unstrut.
