南ドイツで最も美しい歴史的な旧市街の1つと見なされており、部分的に保存されている市壁、数多くの塔、屋根付きの木造橋、そして多くの階段や「Stäffele」とともに、ほとんど変わらない中世の路地は、印象的な街並みを形成しています。木組み、ルネサンス、バロック様式の壮麗な建物に囲まれたマーケット広場は、建築の宝です。バロック様式のアドエルパレのスタイルで建てられた市庁舎の向かいには、壮大な外階段を持つロマネスク・ゴシック様式の聖ミヒャエル教会がそびえ立っています。まさに壮麗で息をのむようです。

The tower is currently being renovated and is temporarily closed – but the walk there is worthwhile for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet alike.

The kiosk is open every Saturday and Sunday. They also serve pizza at reasonable prices. The eggnog cake is a dream. Delicious drinks or beer, whatever you like!

A magnificent view of the monastery complex from the Kocher Valley. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for a visit.

The spot is poorly marked, as you have to turn off the road onto the farm track to get this exact view. So it's better to either 1. enjoy it from the very top before descending, or 2. continue all the way up from below and, as a reward, gaze down into the Bretttach Valley.

The Stone Table is an atmospheric spot in the forest between Schwabbach and Eberstadt, near the L1036. Presumably once a courthouse, it is now considered a cultural monument. 🌳 Surrounded by forest and vineyards, it is a popular starting point for hikes – quietly located, with a small forest playground nearby.
