Mayerling Hunting Lodge, located in the Vienna Woods, was owned by Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria from 1886. On January 30, 1889, the so-called Mayerling Tragedy occurred there, in which Crown Prince Rudolf and Baroness Mary Vetsera were found dead.
