Beautiful forest path through the Alb valley

The 114.70 m high telecommunications tower was erected in 1968 in what is now the Karlsruhe district of Grünwettersbach. Besides private microwave links, the transmitter is also used to broadcast FM and DAB signals for the city of Karlsruhe and the surrounding area.

"Bicycle forest highway"; really fun, in both directions. Only moderate inclines.

A quick stop, cool down, fill up the water bottle, and off we go. The best spring water.

Hiking and biking along the Eyach... and enjoying the peace and quiet—wonderful!

Very good surface. Smooth ride and little gravel on the road.

The four of us had an absolutely fantastic meal there. Both the fish and meat dishes were cooked to perfection. The starters and desserts were also very tasty. All Demeter-certified. It's not exactly cheap, but it was incredibly good.
