湖は以前、ヒンターリンガー湖として知られており、歴史的な貯水池です。魚の養殖、水の貯蔵、そしてかつてのシンデルフィンゲンにあったシュランデラー醸造所の氷の生産に使用されていました。ディープスカーレンバッハ川から供給されているため、ディープスカーレン湖に改名されました。

A very nice, fast-flowing path for leisurely biking with side strips for pedestrians.

The Bärenschlössle (Little Bear Castle) and the three park lakes – Bärensee, Neue See, and Pfaffensee – are a popular destination for day trips. The charming landscape invites visitors to hike, jog, and cycle. Numerous paths wind around the three park lakes, which were originally created as reservoirs to supply Stuttgart with water.

Finally, you can cross the street here without being bothered. I was happy to take advantage of this opportunity, as the road is very busy.

On July 22, 2025, the cycle superhighway bridge over the busy Panzerstrasse in Böblingen was officially opened amid great public interest. The bridge is part of Baden-Württemberg's first cycle superhighway (RS 1), which connects Stuttgart and Böblingen and has already recorded around 1.5 million bicycle rides. The supporting structure consists of a delicate steel box girder with cantilevered consoles that support the roadway slab. Slender steel supports on maintenance-free stainless steel point tilting bearings transfer the loads into the subsoil. The bridge is 200 meters long, five meters wide, features LED lighting in the handrail, and has a minimal gradient.

Very nicely done. The road is busy, so sometimes you had to wait a long time. This tempted some people to risk a small gap to cross the street. Now you can cross it really easy peasy. Great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
