The shelter at the Primstal Dam offers a welcome break right by the water. Here, you can rest in the shade, enjoy the view of the reservoir, and gather new strength for the onward journey. Especially on hot days, this is an ideal place to take a short breather. It's also a popular meeting place for hikers and cyclists.

It's nice to sit in the shade and empty the fridge (soft drinks, beer, wine)

This is one of the three "pleasure stations" along the trail. Soft drinks, beer, and wine can be purchased from the refrigerator on a trust basis. The tower is the only one that can be climbed; the rest of the building houses the forestry office.
