The trail can be busy depending on the day, so it’s recommended to get there early, especially on a sunny day. Take water with you during summer, because the rivers can be totally dry.

A perfect sequence of waterfalls with natural pools and lush surroundings, with some pools deeper than others, and depending on the season the waterfalls could have more or less water. The trail to get to the falls can be considered moderate to difficult, with some steep parts, however it’s worth it for a refreshing soak after hiking.

Tangerine Falls is considered a difficult hike because once you get close to the falls, you have to climb a steep incline. Be prepared to scramble rocks, and bring appropriate shoes, since the terrain can be wet and slippery. This trail is not recommended for beginners. The falls are tall and very beautiful, and from the top you have views of the Pacific Ocean, which makes this hike even more special.
