The floating bridge is an interesting construction that leads over parts of Lake Flückinger.

Very beautifully landscaped lake. Here in the small pavilion on the lake or on the benches around it you can unwind. The restaurant was only open for drinks today and was being rearranged. Normal operations resume from 6 p.m

The lake, which was created as a pond for Freiburg breweries, was also used for local recreation as early as 1880. The restaurant by the lake opened in 1883. The turbulent history of the place can be read on a plaque on the north side of the restaurant.
