The arched bridge over the Rur River, built here in 1992, should be crossed slowly and carefully in wet weather, as the wooden planks can be slippery! Whether on foot or by bicycle, it's wise to take precautions, as I've experienced before.

Keep going! This is an exemplary cycle path. Unfortunately, it's far too short!

A high wall prevents the grounds of Drove Castle, located in the Kreuzau village of Drove, from being visible from the outside. Only the imposing gate, whose gable façade is crowned by an alliance coat of arms, allows passing hikers a glimpse of the private grounds—which are thus hidden from the public eye.

Düren station is located north of the center of Düren and is the largest station in the city and district of Düren.
