Unfortunately, no pictures of the old Bretel train station. Great and informative place. Information about the old railway lines is available on boards and in a shelter. Great place for a break.

Super worthwhile cycle path on an old railway embankment

A very beautiful little lake in the park, idyllic and a bit romantic.

Good, new developed cycle path

From Brockel, the cycle path that was built in the 1980s on the old railway line goes via Bretel to Wittorf. From Wittorf, you can reach Visselhövede directly via the cycle path on the B440. There is a brand new connection from Sandhasenweg, the inner-city cycle path in Rotenburg, mostly on the old railway line towards Visselhövede, to the brand new Fidi-Boon-Wech via Hemsbünde to Brockel. This is the cycle path on the old railway line Rotenburg - Brockel. All in all, a great connection. Fast and interesting and of course it also works the other way round.

The small island in the middle of the lake is especially great :).

Soltau has a nice pedestrian zone with nice rest stops and small shops. It's best to come here on Saturday mornings when there's a market! The fish from the Lanz fish trolley is unique!
