The Innerstetalsperre is a dam on the Innerste, which is located near Langelsheim and Wolfshagen in the Harz Mountains. It was built from 1963 to 1966 and belongs to the Harzwasserwerke. Their purpose is to provide drinking water, flood protection, increase low water levels and generate electricity. The average annual discharge from the Innerste Dam is 60 million m³.
