The Hoa Lu site is nice to visit, but quite simple. A short visit suffices, it's mainly interesting due to its historical significance. The main attraction are some old temples and beautiful gates.

You can enter the Hoa Lu site from a back entrance here. It was free to enter (when we were here, juli 2025) and the gate looks beautiful too

The perfect place for a quick break for a drink and to watch the sunset!

Here you can embark on a great short rowboat ride through the dry Halong Bay. It's also a lovely place to sit by the water and relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.
