The cemetery chapel in Homberg Ohm was built in 1583 as a late Gothic timber-framed building. It is a mortuary chapel where funeral sermons are held.

You can see the Lahn river from a thousand places, but I can't explain why it's supposed to be particularly beautiful here.

Beautiful, well-paved cycle path right next to the main road with a view of Amöneburg.

Staufenberg and its castle are clearly visible from several locations. The spot marked here is the one at the entrance to the town coming from Lollar.

A relatively old weir, which is still in use today, as a fish ladder has already been built in. On the grounds, there is a bench and a group of tables that invite you to take a relaxing break.

The trip up the mountain is worth it.

The imposing town hall of Homberg/Ohm is simply magnificent to look at. It was built in 1539 in post and beam construction on the market square. The first basement floor was a market hall and office. The floor above was used as a meeting and council chamber, but also as a ballroom. The upper floors were used to store supplies.
