Beautiful descent past the Stone Virgin to the Helbehaus

A rest and a detour to the Steinerne Jungfrau, which is about 300 meters steeply uphill, are ideal here. 👍

Several mills were built in the area of the upper Helbe valley. They were used to grind grain and oil crops. The first mill along the Helbe was the "Rabenmühle". It used to belong to Ingelstedt (now a deserted area) and, like almost all mills, was built by its residents as a communal property. In 1896 the mill was demolished. A very beautiful and distinctive rest area coming from the Teufelskanzel in the direction of the Adlernest or Großbrüchter. Unfortunately, the Rabenmühle is no longer standing. Also a great water playground for the kids.

The actual Teufelskanzel is at the top of the mountain. There is also the devil mask! 😱

A great rest area with a well-kept hut and shelter. In the middle of the Helbetal, worthwhile! 👍
