And you should definitely try the Loukoumadis - a kind of warm pancake - in the Mitsakakis cafeteria, which is located in the promenade. It is a must-have! All of our Cretan friends agree. If Loukoumadis - then Mitsakakis !!

Sitia also has an interesting archaeological museum that is worth seeing.
