Gerakas Beach is a sandy beach at the southeastern end of Zakynthos. You can reach the beach via a wooden path. You can rent sunbeds in the front area. The part of the beach towards the slope is cordoned off because turtles lay their eggs here. Sticks and signs mark the spots. The beach is closed between sunset and 7 a.m.
