Steep, muddy, and washed-out ruts with scree certainly make the path difficult for strollers. Due to the condition of the path and the poorly visible access at the top, it's not overcrowded, so I enjoy walking this route, pausing briefly at the wayside cross to take a look at the Sacred Heart Chapel along the way.
